The recovery in Europe looks like it is faltering which is not good for us investors. We need to look also at the growing problem in America where the US dollar is increasingly being sidelined as the "worlds currency" mainly due to uncertainties about the growing US deficit. Printing money has never been an answer and if the US has to start paying for goods and services in denominations other than the $ the consequences could travel around the world. How does all of this affect us? we need to be wary about where we invest for the moment, if the US gets its borrowing under control and Europe takes steps to avoid stagflation the recovery should continue, if they do not the future is much less certain.
